Scooter Braun .
Yes , we're talking about the pedo looking guy who bought all of Taylor swift's masters only to lose all the money when Taylor started re releasing the albums :).
Anyone who is in the industry would know that Scooter Braun is one of the most influential people out there . Under his care , he has successfully created artists that are products of what the industry is like : Justin Bieber , Ariana Grande , Demi Lovato etc...
Let's start from the very beginning.
Scooter never liked Selena . One of the main reasons is that she never played along to what he said. She would never do any pr stunts or publicity stunts with Justin. Scooter is big on these stunts and he immediately grew a hatred for Selena. At one point of time , Scooter even wanted Justin and Selena to fake an engagement but Selena strictly said no . It led to a fight between Justin and Selena and they broke up. (not talking about 2018)
According to everyone who is in the industry :
- Scooter has previously paid media outlets to publish fake news about Selena.
- Scooter has verbally ab*sed Selena and called her horrible names.
- He has come in between Selena and Justin's relationship more than once.
- He bullied and harassed her for 8 years straight.
I don't care if you believe this paragraph or not but there is a reason I am writing this post. I have personally seen Scooter's hatred for Selena . You don't know who I am because I use a fake name on here but I used to be involved with Justin and Scooter at one point of time. Not my best time but hey , a girl's gotta eat. I have personally talked to media outlets and made them post fake stuff about Selena . It was my job so please do not hold it against me. I have given an article about how Selena cheated on Justin with a random guy to a famous outlet once. The next day when the news broke out , I felt like a bitch.
Moving on from my sob story .....
The false "Selena can't sing" rumor and her apparent "drug addiction" and "alcoholic nature" were all lies created by Scooter to deflect the hate from Justin and focus it on Selena . Scooter paid critics to say rude stuff to Selena about her music and she lost her entire confidence . She began feeling insecure of her own singing all thanks to Scooter.
I always found it extremely interesting how Selena magically develops an "addiction problem" ONLY when Justin is receiving hate or backlash for something .
For several examples :
November 2013 : Justin's drug addiction gets revealed that year and he receives lot of hate and backlash from the internet for his behavior.

Then again around November or December 2013 , he receives a heavy amount of hate for 'being racist' after he drew a monkey on a wall :
Then out of absolutely nowhere , an anonymous website posts an article about Selena having a drug addiction and that she's going to rehab soon. The website is no longer available but there are screenshots of several gossip sites quoting that article and saying Selena has a drug addiction and is going to rehab for it.
Selena's team probably had the page reviewed and once it was proved fake , it was taken down .
So where did this anonymous website come from? Scooter Braun of course . He had to use a scapegoat and drift the attention away from Justin , preferably to someone close to him. Scooter Braun has tried to make Selena look like the bad influence several times.
January 2014 : Justin gets arrested for DUI . He receives an incredible amount of hate.
At this point of time , Selena had also been recently diagnosed with Lupus (an autoimmune condition) . She was going through chemotherapy and was suffering a lot . She had hair loss , weight loss and all the emotional stress from chemotherapy. She was starting to have panic and anxiety attacks. So , she went to rehab (Meadows) for a two week stay.
A week after the article about Justin was published , Radar online releases the information about Selena's rehab stay. They somehow managed to get the name of the facility Selena was staying at from an "insider". Who was the insider? That's right . Scooter Braun . He asked Justin about it subtly.
Scooter made sure to not tell Radar what Selena was actually in Rehab for. Obviously when someone says rehab , everyone assumes drug addiction so that is what Radar reported. When in reality, Selena was there for her deteriorating mental health. Selena was dragged on the internet left and right and was said to be a bad influence on Justin.
Selena never wanted anyone to know about her rehab stay. She wanted to keep it a secret but Scooter released the information and Selena had to say something. She told through her team that she had stayed but not for drugs :
Selena voluntarily spent time at Meadows, but not for substance abuse
Selena's team was not as influential or powerful as Scooter but they tried defending Selena as much as they could . Selena was not ready to come out with her Lupus diagnosis . She was going through chemo and was at a very low point in her life .
Thanks to Scooter , she was also being bullied apart from having fake rumors spread about her.
June 2015:
Justin Bieber was under fire for assualt and careless driving or drag racing. He was getting there with his 'bad boy' image.
The drug and alcohol rumors were starting to get to Selena. She got very frustrated with it and was forced to make her diagnosis public. If scooter had not releases her rehab address and her private information , Selena would have come out with her diagnosis a very long time later. She did not want to say anything about but was forced to in order to protect her image.
"It was unclear at the time what caused her to have to receive professional help"
Scooter had made sure to make people assume the worst about Selena.

November 2016: Justin Bieber gets hate and receives backlash for allegedly punching a fan
A week later : Selena's rehab facility's name is released to the public by an 'anonymous source'.
Although we can't blame Scooter for this entirely. Everyone already knew Selena was going through a lot on tour so when she took a break after cancelling her tour , it was obvious she was heading to rehab.
This is what Selena said in an interview about the rumors Scooter spread:
I’ve never had a problem with drinking.
The amount of fake information out there about Selena that were posted by Scooter in a HUGE amount. Like the article below? There is no picture or video. It is just a title with nothing to back it up besides a picture of Justin and Selena on a red carpet
Every now and then , Scooter would try to make Selena seem like the bad guy and Justin seem like the victim. We all know the truth though: Selena was actually the victim.
Scooter has paid people to act like they were hooking up with Selena and getting too close to her. Scooter has staged pictures , manipulated the media and everyone.
Here is proof of one such incident:
Justin Bieber's former friend , King Kevi was made to pretend to hook up with Selena. Scooter paid him to do it. Paparazzi pictures of Kevi roaming around Selena's house were everywhere in 2013. It was around the time Selena and Justin were together. Scooter wanted to make Selena look like a cheater. The worst part was that Scooter made it seem like Justin and Kevi were best friends.
Selena got a tremendous amount of hate after that. She was slutshamed and called a cheater and people started making all sorts of assumptions about her:
However , the whole thing backfired for Scooter when TMZ investigated the matter. It was discovered that when the pictures of Kevi outside Selena's house were taken , Selena was not even at home . There is video proof of the Kevi lurking outside Selena's home and waiting for paparazzi and leaving :
Selena was not the only one receiving hate . Kevi was also being hated on by Beliebers and Selenators. Kevi got frightened because he did not expect so much hate. So , he ended up snitching to TMZ. He told them that:
I was there to drop off something to a friend at the party. I walked multiple times to the front gate to try to call my friend and every time I had to chase off the photog.

which is really funny because Selena has never met the guy and neither has Justin.
Scooter did not tell Justin about his plan to ruin Selena's name this time. So , when Justin saw the rumors , his crazy obsession for Selena kicked in and he ended up tweeting Kevi's number to the public.
Kevi started receiving a lot of hate and he got very scared and ended up filing for a restraining order against Justin Bieber and Alfredo Flores.
Pederson (Kevi) still wants Bieber to stay 150 yards away from him at all times.
Scooter has on several occasions told Justin that Selena was cheating on him so that he believed the articles when they came out. Justin would get mad and yell at Selena and they would end up fighting. Scooter leaked private information like her rehab stays and her personal address. He always failed to mention why she was really at Rehab so people always thought it was drugs.
The worst part is yet to come . So , Trigger warning for the content below (contains mentions of ab*se and name calling).
Scooter would tell Justin horrible stuff about Selena and Justin would always believe him. The number of times Justin and Scooter have ganged up on Selena to yell at her is just...horrible. Scooter would call her a sl*t , wh*re and bitch etc etc. The worst part was that Justin played along most of the time. Selena would complain to Justin about it and he would just shrug it off saying she was 'making a big deal out of nothing'
Scooter would make Selena take the blame for things Justin has done. He would ask her to take responsibility for him "if she loved him". He would blackmail her and tell her and threaten to destroy her career. Scooter had pictures of Justin and Selena in.......compromising positions and he would hold it as leverage against her.
What happened to that now? Simple , Selena is not in Justin's life anymore so he has no use for it. Recently too , scooter used Selena's name to defend Justin against the sexual assault allegations. Selena did not say anything but allowed her name to be used , probably because she was still scared of Scooter.
Selena would be made the scapegoat for anything Justin did.
Justin cheated? Nah , Selena only over reacted.
Rumors of Justin cheating spread? Selena and Justin are seen hanging out the next day.
Justin being hated on by public? Make Selena show her love publicly/rumors about Selena's rehab stay resurface.
Leak old Selena pictures with guys and make it seem like she is cheating
If you do not believe me , know that Selena was not the only one who was Justin's scape goat.
It would have been bad on him. So I got a call one day saying, ‘Twist, do you really love this kid?’ I said, ‘Yes.’ . They said, ‘Cool, if you love him then you can take the heat for him because you can come off a little weed charge. You’re associated with Lil Wayne. You’re a rapper.

It got to a point where I didn’t even have to be there at times and they were putting it, ‘Twist did it, Twist did it, Twist did it, It became overwhelming.
Two incidents are :
Lil Twist got arrested twice in 2013 for drag racing......in Justin's cars (both the tines). Lil Twist is not a very bad rapper and he can afford his own car , why did he drive Justin's? Simple. He didn't. Justin was driving but Twist took the blame.
Then apparently for some reason , Twist threw a marijuana party in Justin's house....when Justin was in Europe....? Now why would he do that? Justin was the one who threw the party but Twist took the blame.
Last topic that needs to be covered:
Selena would hang out with Justin, show support, take blame if needed etc whenever Scooter asked her to because she thought she was helping Justin. Justin took her and the relationship for granted and would listen to everything Scooter said about her. He would yell at Selena sometimes if she did not listen to what Scooter was saying.
In a way , Jelena was an verbally ab*sive relationship because Justin would watch Scooter yell at Selena and say nothing. He would pretend it never happened. When Selena spoke back , he would tell her to 'let it be' or 'just listen to him' .
The abuse that Selena endured from Scooter through out her relationship with Justin is one of the several reasons I never shipped them. It was horrible how Justin would play along with Scooter.
Scooter Braun ruined Selena's image. He has been destroying her career and personal life little by little for a very long time. He made Selena's life hell and everyone should be glad Selena escaped from that.
